After much speculation, the date for audio release of Ilayathalapathy Vijay's much-awaited Bairavaa has been formally announced. Yes, the album will be launched on December 23.
The news has come straight from the horse's mouth as Lahari Music, the official audio rights holder of Bairavaa, has announced the news on Twitter. "The Wait is over. #BairavaaAudioFromDec23 #VarlamVaaBairavaa," Lahari Music tweeted on Friday.
The original plan to release the album of Bairavaa was in the first week of December. But it was postponed due to the death of Tamil Nadu's beloved former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. Later, it was reported that the album would be out on 17 or 20 of this month. All those rumours have now been put to rest with the official confirmation by Lahari Music.
Lahari Music had recently signed a deal with the makers of Bairavaa. Putting behind many other biggies, the Bengaluru-based company procured the rights after a few rounds of negotiations, say reports.
Bairavaa has music by Santhosh Narayanan, who has many hits to his credit in the recent years. Hence, the expectations are sky-high.
The movie is written and directed by Bharathan, who is directing Vijay after his Azhagiya Tamil Magan in 2007. Vijay Productions has bankrolled the film and the entire Tamil Nadu theatrical rights have been acquired by Sri Green Productions.
Bairavaa, which has Sukumar's cinematography and Praveen KL's editing, has Keerthy Suresh in the female lead, while Jagapathi Babu and Aparna Vinod are also there in supporting roles.
