Keerthy Suresh, who is busy with upcoming Tamil movie Bairavaa, has bagged another big project. The actress has now been offered Lingusamy's Sandakozhi 2 in which Vishal Krishna plays the lead role.
Rumours are rife that the makers of Sandakozhi 2 have approached Keerthy Suresh to play the female lead role. Talks are said to be almost over and the actress has reportedly given her nod to act in the film. This would be her first movie with the Pandiya Naadu actor. The makers are expected to formally reveal the news soon.
The upcoming movie is a sequel to Sandakozhi, the hit film of 2005, in which Meera Jasmine had played the female lead. The second instalment was supposed to start much earlier, but was delayed as Lingusamy was busy with other projects.
Meanwhile, Keerthy Suresh recently left for Switerland to shoot a song for Bairavaa. A duet track is currently being filmed on the lead stars.
The actress has also signed Suriya's upcoming movie, Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, which is written and directed by Vignesh Shivan.
Keerthy Suresh, who is fast gaining a big following in Kollywood, made her acting debut in the Malayalam movie, Geethanjali. AL Vijay's Idhu Enna Maayam was her first film in Tamil while Sivakarthikeyan's Rajini Murugan was her first major hit at the box office.
Her recent movie, Remo, with Sivakarthikeyan turned out to be a hit, thereby making her position stronger in Kollywood. She is now also working in Bobby Simha's upcoming movie, Paambhu Sattai.
