The box office collection of SS Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Conclusion (Bahubali 2) is at par with Hollywood films in the US. Until now, Hollywood movies used to compete with Indian movies in India, but for the first time, an Indian movie is giving neck-to-neck competition to Hollywood movies in the US.
Baahubali 2 turned out to be a surprise hit at the US box office. Not only in India, but in the US also the film went on to record one of the biggest opening day box office collection. The opening day's box office collection of Prabhas-starrer is close to the second Friday collection of The Fate and the Furious (Fast and Furious 8).

Baahubali 2 has also left behind Pantelion/Lionsgate's How to Be a Latin Lover. Eugenio Derbez and Salma Hayek-starrer stormed at the box office with $3,900,000 collection on its opening day, but it remained behind the Indian film.
Also, Emma Watson-Tom Hanks-starrer The Circle, which released along with Baahubali 2, earned less than the Indian film. The Circle's opening day box office collection stands at $3,200,000, according to Box Office Mojo.
The magnum opus Baahubali 2 has rewritten history, which will not be shattered anytime soon. Baahubali 2 became the first Indian film to cross the Rs 100 crore mark in India on its first day at the domestic box office. The first-day collection is inclusive of Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam versions.
Rajamouli's-directorial is a sequel to the blockbuster hit Baahubali: The Beginning. The film features Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishna and Nassar in pivotal roles.
