After the super success of "Baahubali: The Beginning," millions of movie-lovers are eagerly waiting for "Baahubali 2" (Baahubali: The Conclusion), which will be released April 14, 2017. The second instalment of the SS Rajamouli directorial has Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia in lead roles and will be dubbed in several languages including Hindi.
For the Hindi version, popular Hindi television actor Sharad Kelkar has been roped in to dub for Prabhas, IANS reports. Sharad had also dubbed for Prabhas in the Hindi version of "Baahubali: The Beginning."
Excited to start dubbing for Prabhas, Sharad told IANS that it's an honour to be a part of the "Baahubali" franchise. "I'm really looking forward to start dubbing for 'Baahubali 2'. It was an honour to be part of the first part where I dubbed for Prabhas. It's not every day you get to be part of a project that raked in over Rs.600 crore worldwide," Sharad said.
Apart from "Baahubali 2," Sharad is all set to mark his debut in Tollywood industry with "Sardaar Gabbar Singh." The actor will be playing a negative role in the Pawan Kalyan's film. Sharad also awaits the release of his Bollywood film "Irada," which has Arshad Warsi in a key role.
"I have fans in Hyderabad and Vishakhapatnam, thanks to the popularity I've gained through my Hindi serials which get dubbed into Telugu. My association with 'Baahubali' has also earned me wide recognition. All this, I hope, will work in my favour ahead of the release of 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh,'" the actor said.
Sharad rose to popularity with his role of Nahar Singh in television show "Saat Phere - Saloni Ka Safar." He had also been a part of popular shows like "Uttaran" and "Kuch Toh Log Kahenge." In Bollywood, Sharad featured in films like "1920: Evil Returns" and "Ram-Leela" and had played the negative role in Riteish Deshmukh starrer Marathi film "Lai Bhaari."
