The magnum-opus Bahubali: The Conclusion (Baahubali 2) is all set to roar the box office across the globe on its release on Friday, April 28. It is expected to make a record opening day collection from worldwide considering the hype around the SS Rajamouli directorial. The unreasonable ticket charges will also help the sequel of Bahubali: The Beginning to become the biggest Indian movie grosser.

How will Bahubali 2 perform at Kerala box office?
The prequel had opened to fabulous response from fans in Kerala with it raking in a total gross collection of Rs 13 crore with a nett amount of Rs 10.5 crore and share of Rs 5.25 crore after completing 87 days of theatrical run. Bahubali 2 is likely to cross the collection within the opening weekend itself, considering the wide release it has across the state. The movie will be released in nearly 300 screens in Kerala alone and is sure to benefit the total collection of the Prabhas-starrer.
Bahubali opening day box office collection prediction in Kerala
With the Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions of the film releasing in record number of theatres, it is sure to be a record breaker on the opening day itself as the tickets for the first day shows have already been sold out in majority of the theatres where advance bookings were opened. The movie is expected to earn more than Rs 5 crore at Kerala box office on the first day of its theatrical run.
Opening day challange for Bahubali 2
As of now, megastar Mammootty's family thriller The Great Father is the biggest opening day grosser at Kerala box office with it earning approximately Rs 4.31 crore on the first day. The movie was screened in 202 theatres and had a total of 958 shows on day one breaking the collection record of Mohanlal's Pulimurugan. But for Bahubali 2, crossing this figure doesn't even look challenging.
Road block for Bahubali 2!
After Global United Media, which is distributing the movie in Kerala unveiled the all-Kerala theatre list of Bahubali 2, it is understood that they have not listed a few multiplexes like PVR and INOX, as the theatres are demanding more share from distributors. It has to be noted that the multiplexes are already given 50 percent share compared to single screens in Kerala due to the excellent services they provide for audience. The spokesperson at GUM has told International Business Times, India that the talks are still on and the issues are expected to get resolved by Thursday evening.
