The Hindi version of SS Rajamouli's Bahubali 2 (Baahubali 2: The Conclusion) continued to fare well at the domestic box office in its sixth week and its total collection has crossed the mark of Rs 700 crore gross in 42 days.
The latest trend in the Hindi film industry is that movies will not run more than four weeks in the theatres and there are various reasons for it. But the dubbed version of Bahubali 2 is surprising everyone in the B-Town with its collection in sixth week. Several big ticket movies have hit the screens in the last few weeks, but none of them have been successful in halting its juggernaut in the domestic market.
Bahubali 2 has collected Rs 5.35 crore nett at the domestic box office in its sixth week and its 42-day total collection has reached Rs 506.53 crore nett in India. Leading trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted: "#Baahubali2 [Week 6] Fri 72 lakhs, Sat 1.03 cr, Sun 1.35 cr, Mon 66 lakhs, Tue 60 lakhs, Wed 54 lakhs, Thu 45 lakhs. Total: ₹ 506.53 cr."
The collection of most of the Bollywood movies drops by over 70 percent in second week. But the Hindi version of Bahubali 2 witnessed less than 45 percent dip in its business in its second week and it went on showing around 50 percent drop in the following weeks. Taran Adarsh tweeted: "#Baahubali2

The Hindi version of Bahubali 2 has collected a total of Rs 703.51 crore gross at the Indian box office in six weeks and it is the all-time highest amount of an original Hindi movie. This dubbed movie has raised bar for the upcoming Bollywood movies and there are no such film to beat this record in near future.
However, the Hindi version of Bahubali 2 has been vacated from more number of theatres by new releases like Raabta and Behen Hogi Teri in its seventh week. But the Prabhas and Rana Daggubat starrer has continued to make collection in cinema halls across the country.
