At least two people were killed and seven others injurd in a powerful bomb blast at Sabaa al-Bour in Baghdad on Monday morning, Iraq Sunnah News reported.
However, some social media posts put the death toll to be nine.
In recent days Baghdad has seen a spat of bomb blasts in the Iraqi city. On Sunday, an Iraqi colonel was killed in Ghazaliya after unidentified planted a bomb in his car.
At least 12 people were killed on 3 September in bomb attacks in multiple commercial and residential neighbourhoods across Baghdad, Jerusalem Post reported.
Three people were killed and 10 wounded by a blast at a market in the eastern district of Ameen; two others were killed and seven wounded in Zaafraniya in southern Baghdad, while a blast in the northern area of Suleikh killed two more.
