BAFTA TV Awards, which is also known as the British Academy Television Awards, will kick start with a live broadcast from the Royal Festival Hall on Southbank in London this Sunday, May 14.

The annual event, which is organised by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), is considered as one of the biggest award nights for British television shows. For many celebrities, it is equivalent to the Emmy awards.

The nomination list for BAFTA TV Awards is already out and Netflix series The crown has topped the list with five nods followed by crime drama Happy Valley with three nominations and talk show, The Last Leg with two nods.

Where to buy tickets for BAFTA TV Awards 2017?

The tickets for the annual award show will be available online here and it will cost between US$ 91.39 and US$ 134.65. The event attendees will have the opportunity to walk the red carpet with celebrities and get an official brochure of the show free along with special BAFTA chocolate treats.

Who will host BAFTA TV Awards 2017 and where to watch it live online?

English comedian and broadcaster Susan Elizabeth Perkins a.k.a Sue will host the Bafta TV Awards 2017.

"I am thrilled to be hosting the Virgin TV British Academy Television Awards this year. Not only is it one of the highlights of the television calendar, it's also a superbly fun night and an opportunity to celebrate the incredible British talent we have behind our very best TV programs," The Son quoted Sue as saying.

The annual award show will be broadcast live from the Royal Festival Hall on Southbank in London on BBC this Sunday, May 14.
