Varun Dhawan has scored a hat-trick at the box office with four consecutive hit films. His latest offering "Badlapur" has become a hit film at the domestic box office.
The crime drama, which is going steady at the box office, has earned ₹30 crore net income from box office. The film has been holding well at the box office since day one and the ticket sales remained unaffected by the ongoing World cup matches.

"Badlapur" is Varun's fourth hit film after "Student of the Year", "Main Tera Hero" and "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania".
The film has performed well and minted decent collections, until now, and in the coming days also the film is expected to remain steady.
Meanwhile, in overseas market "Badlpur" is Varun's second highest grosser. His debut film "Student of the Year" is still at no. 1 position with $1.3 million (₹6.95 crore) opening weekend collection.
"Badlapur" opening weekend overseas box office collection stands at $1.04 million (₹6.46 crore), which is the second highest total for Varun's film. "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania" has the third highest opening weekend collection with $924,000 (₹ 5.55 crore), according to Bollywood Hungama.
But in Gulf region "Badlapur" has shattered the records of "Student of the Year" and "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania".
