Ayushmann Khurrana's Badhaai Ho has continued to keep the cash registers ringing at Indian box office in its six week and gone on to beat the collection record of Prabhas' Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.
The Ayushmann Khurrana starrer has clashed with several biggies including Thugs of Hindostan at the domestic box office, but it has remained undeterred for the last five and half weeks. Badhaai Ho has collected approximately Rs 3.95 crore net at the Indian box office in its sixth weekend and its 33-day total to Rs 132.35 crore in the domestic market.
Badhaai Ho is now heading to surpass Rs 140 crore net mark at the Indian box office in the coming days. Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#BadhaaiHo is a ONE-HORSE RACE... Now heads towards ₹ 140 cr [+/-]... This one is not slowing down soon... [Week 6] Fri 1.05 cr, Sat 1.35 cr, Sun 1.55 cr. Total: ₹ 132.35 cr. India biz."
Unlike other films, there is a very slow and steady decline in the collection of Badhaai Ho in the last six weeks. Taran Adarsh added, "#BadhaaiHo biz at a glance... Week 1: ₹ 66.10 cr [8 days; released on Thu] Week 2: ₹ 28.15 cr Week 3: ₹ 15.35 cr Week 4: ₹ 10.80 cr Week 5: ₹ 8 cr Weekend 6: ₹ 3.95 cr Total: ₹ 132.35 cr India biz. BLOCKBUSTER.
The Hindi version of SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2 has been a historical blockbuster success at the Indian box office. The Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer had collected Rs 3.04 crore net in India in its sixth weekend. Now, Badhaai Ho has gone to shatter this record and probably become the highest amount.
