OnePlus, in a bid to bolster its thriving smartphone community, has launched a promotional 'Back-to-School' campaign with cash discounts and other lucrative offers on OnePlus 6, including the accessories to college students in India.
OnePlus' Back-to-School offer is valid on Amazon India, OnePlus.in store and also at authorised retail shops across the country.
"Our core users are between the ages of 18-35 and students form almost 30% of that community. Students are the most demanding consumers who believe in making educated purchases backed by extensive research and therefore, investing in a premium smartphone becomes that much more crucial, Vikas Agarwal, General Manager, OnePlus India, said in a statement.

Is OnePlus 6 worth buying?
Yes! OnePlus 6 is a complete package. It has gorgeous design, excellent build quality, really good camera (DxOMark Mobile score: 96), latest and powerful Qualcomm processor, high capacity battery with super fast Dash Charge technology, which no other brand can boast off (except for sister firm Oppo) and yet costs half of what rivals companies sell in the market. OnePlus 6, depending on the configuration (RAM+storage), it costs between Rs 34,999 and Rs 43,999 [ complete price list in the table below].
Except for the recently unveiled Asus Zenfone 5Z, there is no competition for OnePlus 6 in the under Rs 45,000 price-band.
For the uninitiated, OnePlus 6 sports a 6.2-inch full HD+ (2160x1080p) screen with 19:9 aspect ratio. It features Apple iPhone X-like notch on top of the display, which houses a 20MP sensor with face unlock capability.
On the rear side, OnePlus 6 sports a glass cover on top of the metallic shell with a special coating on top to sustain accidental water splashes and also the mild rains.
It features rear dual-camera 16MP+20MP with an F1.7 aperture in the centre and a fingerprint sensor below it for easy access to the finger to unlock screen and also act as a shutter button to take a selfie.
Other stipulated specifications include 6GB/8GB RAM, 64GB/128GB/256GB storage, Android Oreo-based OxygenOS 5.1, a 3,300mAh battery with new Dash Charge technology and support Bluetooth v5.0, NFC (Near Field Communication) and other standard connectivity features.
