Monday's episode of "The Bachelorette" saw Kaitlyn Bristowe finally confessing to Shawn Booth about her wild night with contestant Nick Viall.
Although Booth handled the situation well, saying he wanted to move past the incident, it appears he was not ready to let Viall go without giving him a piece of his mind. The episode ended with the beginning of a confrontation between Viall and Booth, and in the next episode fans can see how Bristowe deals with the news.
Previewing the episode, "The Bachelorette" host Chris Harrison said the blow up was going to be big, and that such a confrontation was not going to go unnoticed by Bristowe.
"Shawn was like Mount Vesuvius boiling over and at some point this was going to happen," Harrison told TVGuide. "While Shawn was smart enough to not have a confrontation in front of Kaitlyn, you knew there would be one -- he loves Kaitlyn too much and hates Nick too much to let this go."
Next week's episode will pick up from where Monday's episode left off, and fans can expect Bristowe to get in between the two finalists. "[The argument] is pretty incredible and we pick up next week where we left off. And as far as Kaitlyn's involvement? You'll definitely see that as well. A confrontation like this won't stay quiet," Harrison said.
The show host also pointed out that the confrontation was bound to happen, as there was clearly a love triangle between Booth, Bristowe and Viall, and therefore one cannot blame Booth for being upset about Viall's importance in Bristowe's life.
"Maybe there are times when you're not sure [how the Bachelorette] is feeling about the other guys, but Shawn knows that she has feelings for Nick and vice versa. It's a true love triangle of epic proportions. So I don't begrudge Shawn for being upset. You could call him immature, but when it comes to matters of the heart and when you're that emotionally involved, can you really blame the guy for not wanting another man in his life?" Harrison questioned.
"The Bachelorette" airs Mondays on ABC.
