Episode 2A of "Bachelor in Paradise" saw Lauren Iaconetti leaving the show after announcing that she was in love with someone back home, and that she was actually someone's mistress.
The episode saw Lauren announcing to her sister, Ashley Iaconetti, that she wasn't having much fun on "Bachelor in Paradise," and added that she wanted to go back home.
"This is actually Hell, not Paradise," Lauren explained to Ashley. "I just wanna go home."
The next morning, she announced to Tanner and Dan that she was a mistress, and that she was pining for someone else. "I am so in love with him I can't even do anything, I can't think of anything," she announced, adding: "I'm kind of the mistress."
No one seemed surprised that Lauren wanted to leave the show, as it did not appear as if she had made a connection with any of the other cast members.
Interestingly, Lauren won't be the only contestant to leave the show. According to spoiler guru Reality Steve, JJ Lane from Kaitlyn Bristowe's season of "The Bachelorette", will also quit the show soon.
One of the upcoming episodes will see JJ leaving the show after announcing that he met someone back home and he wanted to explore that relationship.
"JJ gives his rose to Ashley S., but then gives some speech about how he just recently met someone back home that he was talking to before the show so he wants to explore that," Steve wrote in a blog post.
The spoiler guru also revealed that the season finale will see Tanner getting engaged to Jade. However, he does not believe the two will last.
"Can Tanner and Jade pull it off? I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say no, but hey, weirder things have happened…We know the show pushes for these engagements to spice it up a bit and give everyone a happy ending. It just seems all too contrived and not believable to me. Good luck to them. They're gonna need it," Steve wrote.
"Bachelor in Paradise" airs on ABC.
