Shortly after season 2 of ABC's "Bachelor in Paradise" started its telecast, it was made clear to everyone that Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert aren't interested in anyone apart from each other.
The two have been inseparable, and according to spoiler guru Reality Steve's blog, the duo even gets engaged at the end of the show. But rumours regarding a split started doing the rounds after a preview for the final two episodes hinted at one of the most dramatic breakups in the history of the show.
The preview shows Roper crying and Tolbert telling her he cannot give her the rose. Viewers also see Roper, a former Playboy model, calling someone a coward.
Will the fan-favourite couple breakup? According to Life & Style source, the two are still together and they are engaged to be married. "Jade and Tanner are definitely still together and engaged. Jade has been breaking the rules and sneaking off to Kansas City, Missouri to visit him. Even though they only knew each other for 20 days, from the very beginning Jade was sure that Tanner was the one," the source said, according to Celeb Dirty Laundry.
The source also noted that the duo hasn't set a wedding date yet, as Tolbert and Roper are hoping for a television wedding similar to what Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul had.
However, Reality Steve isn't hopeful of the two walking down the aisle. According to him, "Just like last season, these two got engaged without either one meeting the other person's family or friends, and having only spent 20 days together. So basically I look at it as, you get engaged because that's what the show wants you to do, and then you spend the time after the show to see if you want to REMAIN engaged. That's all it really is."
Season 2 of "Bachelor in Paradise" airs Sundays and Mondays on ABC.
