Episode 5 of "The Bachelor" did not feature a cocktail party as Chris Soules decided to cancel it following Kelsey Poe's story about her struggles after her husband's death.
However, Monday's episode will see Soules and viewers bidding adieu to more hopeful contestants after they fail to make an impression. Among them, according to spoilers, is Megan Bell – the 24-year-old make-up artist from Nashville – who will eliminate herself from the season.
Reality Steve wrote in his blog that Bell will ditch Soules in the next episode, and surprisingly, Britt Nilsson will follow suit in episode 7, stating she believes other contestants are better suited for Soules.
Interestingly, this is not the first time a contestant has eliminated herself from the show. Season 18 of the dating reality show featuring Juan Pablo Galavis saw Andi Dorfman quitting the season after the Fantasy Suite date.
Meanwhile, Nilsson's departure is going to come as a shock to many as she was once considered a frontrunner by "The Bachelor" host Chris Harrison. But Harrison appears to have had a change of heart since then, especially after the previous episode where her hygiene was brought into question.
Harrison said that Nilsson's makeup habits are a bit suspicious and told TV Guide it was definitely a red flag.
"And as far as the showering and the makeup stuff, people will have to come up with their own opinions about that," Harrison told the magazine. "People are going to say, 'She knew she had to get up early. Nobody wakes up looking like that!' But she really wakes up in full makeup and before she goes to bed she puts on more makeup! Definitely a red flag."
Episode 6 will see this season's first two-on-one date and it will pitch Ashley Iaconetti against Kelsey Poe. "The highly anticipated two-on-one date pits two feuding women, setting the stage for one of the most dramatic showdowns ever – but who will be left standing?" teases the synopsis of the episode.
"The Bachelor" Season 19 Episode 6 airs 9 February at 8 pm ET on ABC.
