The Bachelorette season 14 comes to an end with Becca Kufrin choosing Garrett Yrigoyen over Blake Horstmann in the finale episode that aired on Monday night, August 6.
Garrett got down on one knee and pulled out the perfect ring to propose Becca. The heartfelt moment was captured in the season finale.
During the season finale, Kufrin poured her heart out and revealed decision of getting engaged to Garrett. She said, "This journey has been a rollercoaster of every emotion. But the one strongest emotion is love and I've been waiting to say it to the right person, I've been holding back because I wanted to be one 1000 percent cerain. Garrett, I love you, I love you so much.."
Kufrin always felt that the relationship she had with Garrett grew slowly at first. But then as she got to know him, she got to see different sides to him and felt that he could perfectly fit into her life.
Yrigoyen was extrememly excited knowing Kufrin's thoughts about him and her idea of love. He wasted no time to go down on one knee and proposed. He chose a ring with the help of Neil Lane. The ring is a unique yellow gold combination. Check out the proposal below:

Yrigoyen knew he had a chance to be with Becca Kufrin since day one when he got the impression rose from her out of 28 other contestants. But he was worried about losing her due to his recent social media controversy. Soon after the premiere aired, Yrigoyen's Instagram activities came into light.
He had liked posts that were offensive to trans genders, homosexuals, feminists, and undocumented immigrants. He immediately deleted his account so that he can have a fresh start. He created a new account and apologised to all the people he had offended.
He said, "I am sorry to those who I offended, and I take full responsibility for my "likes" on Instagram that were hurtful and offensive".
Kufrin said that it wasn't easy to deal with these negative comments on social media and that it was one of the toughest situations to deal with. But at the end of the day, she trusts that he will grow to be a better person.
The finale took place at one of the beautiful beaches of Maldives. The bachelorette stood at the deck in a white dress waiting for both the Bachelors. Kufrin did have strong feelings towards both the finalists but she had to choose one over the other.
First, Blake Horstmann met Kufrin and began his pre proposal speech. Once he completed his speech, Kufrin gently let him down by telling him that they are good for each other, in fact they've had the strongest and steady relationship, but they had better partners out there.
And finally, Kufrin composed herself one last time and told Yrigoyen that he was the one for since day one and that she was in love with him.
The two are finally engaged and they are planning to go to Minneapolis first, then to Rio and move to California for a couple of years. They have are not thinking about getting married anytime soon.
