The trailer of the much-anticipated action thriller - "Baby" - starring Akshay Kumar is finally out.
Director Neeraj Pandey, of "A Wednesday" fame, has once again dealt with a serious take on terrorism in his upcoming flick.
Kumar plays the character Ajay, who forms a secret intelligence unit to uncover a terror group and their operations.
"Baby" is his second venture with the director after "Special 26" (2013). Going by the promo, it appears like with "Baby", the duo will be able to repeat the success of their previous venture.
The promo looks promising with some high dose action stunts performed by the "Khiladi" actor. He is seen carrying out some heavy duty action sequences while he gets hold of some terrorists.
However, the trailer has not revealed as to who or what the title of the film, "Baby", refers to.
The film also features Danny Denzongpa, who apparently plays the chief of the intelligence unit. Tapsee Pannu and Rana Daggubati also play pivotal roles in the film. Anupam Kher, who has earlier worked with the director, will once again showcase his talent in the upcoming thriller.
The film has reportedly been shot in several overseas locations, including Nepal, Istanbul, Abu Dhabi and Oman.
Presented by T-Series and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Shital Bhatia, Crouching Tiger and Cape of Good Films, "Baby" is slated to hit theatres on 23 January 2015.
