Akshay Kumar's much-anticipated film "Baby" is an action thriller based on terrorism and has a high dose of action sequences.
The film directed by Neeraj Pandey of "A Wednesday" and "Special 26" fame has some death defying stunts that has been directed by Hollywood stunt director Cyril Raffaelli. Raffaelli has worked on some of the popular flicks such as "The Transporter" and "The Incredible Hulk" among others.
Kumar, who is quite active on Twitter, posted a video from the film that shows how the action sequences were shot and how they executed it effortlessly.
"One of the greatest experiences of working on @babythefilm - Hollywood's famous action director, Cyril Raffaelli" Kumar tweeted.
While, stunts for any film are usually executed by stuntmen, the action director says that the "Khiladi" actor dared to perform it all by himself.
According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, Kumar, who will be portraying a serious role in "Baby" after a series of comedy flicks, is quite confident about the film and hopes that the efforts they have put in will be appreciated by the viewers.
"Baby" has Kumar playing the character of Ajay, who forms a secret intelligence unit to uncover a terror group and its operations.
The trailer of "Baby" is going viral and has already garnered over four million views within just two weeks of its release.
Apart from Kumar, the film features Tapsee Pannu in female lead role besides Anupam Kher, Danny Denzongpa and Rana Daggubati in pivotal roles.
The film has reportedly been shot in several overseas locations, including Nepal, Istanbul, Abu Dhabi and Oman.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Shital Bhatia, Crouching Tiger and Cape of Good Films and presented by T-Series, "Baby" is slated to hit theatres on 23 January 2015.
