The magnum opus movie, "Baahubali", has been making headlines for several reasons. The latest update on the movie is about its business and reports suggest that the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of the film has been acquired by Thenandal films from studio Green.
However, the reason for the change of hands in the movie's business has not been revealed as yet. With this, Thenandal films has acquired the rights of two big movies, including Anushka Shetty starrer "Rudhramadevi".
Earlier reports had quoted that Gnanavel Raja's Studio Green and UV Creations had got the theatrical rights of "Baahubali" for a whopping ₹27 Crores.

The Hindi rights of the movie are acquired by Karan Johar for a large sum. Similarly, the Karnataka and Ceded (Rayalaseema) region's distribution rights were sold to a prominent distributor for ₹23 crore. The Kerala distribution rights have been acquired by Global United Media, which is again said to be sold for a huge amount.
The movie has reportedly been made with a huge budget of ₹175 crore and the pre-release business, as per some reports, has already surpassed ₹100 crore. In terms of pre- release business, it's Rajinikanth's "Robo" that stands at top with ₹ 140 crore and whether "Baahubali" will reach this mark or not is something the industry is waiting to see.
Meanwhile, the posters of the "Baahubali" - which introduces the lead characters of the movie - are being released by the director on every alternate day since 1 May. Each poster has received overwhelming response from audience and critics alike.
The movie has a highly impressive star cast comprising Prabhas, Rana Duggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah, Sudeep, Satyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, Adivi Shesh, Nassar, Tanikella Bharani, and Subburaj.
The big budget movie is being produced by Prasad Devineni, K Raghavendra Rao, and Shobu Yarlagadda.
