Actor Prabhas, who is cashing in on the success of his latest release "Baahubali – The Beginning", is on cloud nine. Filmmaker Karan Johar's recently appreciated Prabhas, which amplified his jubilation.
Prabhas is elated with Kjo's response and the appreciation he has received from all quarters after the film's release. "Baahubali", directed by SS Rajamouli, is one of the biggest releases in India and shattered and created several records at the box office.
The combined box office collection of "Baahubali", including all the versions from around the world, is more than Rs 600 crore. Not only at the ticket window, but at the small screen also the film garnered one of the highest TRPs.
Karan, who released the Hindi version of "Baahubali", took to his Twitter to express his gratitude over the success of the film on television.
"#Baahubali storms television ratings! More power to the man @ssrajamouli and the entire team!!! #Prabhas @RanaDaggubati," he tweeted.
Karan's tweet about the film's success on TV left Prabhas surprised.
"Prabhas was pleasantly surprised and extremely delighted to see the announcement by Karan Johar. He is very humbled with all the love and appreciation he has been getting from the audiences," Prabhas' spokesperson told IANS.
Directed by Rajamouli, the film features Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj. The storyline is about a kingdom and two brothers eyeing the throne.
The story will be revealed in three parts. The first part was released this year, while the shooting for the second part will begin by the end of this year.
