Rana Daggubati, who shot to fame with SS Rajamouli's blockbuster "Baahubali," has got good offers to work with award-winning filmmakers in Tamil. After being approached by Bala and Ameer for their forthcoming films, he has reportedly given a green signal to both the flicks.

The actor has confirmed the news to Indiaglitz and claimed that Bala's film is a multi-starrer. But he has not revealed anything about Ameer's film. However, he admitted that he would be collaborating with the "Paruthiveeran" creator for the first time.

Bala, whose Sasikumar and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar starrer "Tharai Thappatai" hit the screens in January 2016, is known for making off-beat films, even though some of his works have become commercial hits. The director is considered a tough taskmaster, but his actors have often been rewarded for their best performance through awards with some of them even winning National Awards.

Nonetheless, it will be a big challenge for Rana Daggubati, who has not acted in author-backed roles in his career yet, to change gears from commercial flicks to off-beat films. In fact, Ameer also has a history of making films on realistic subjects with a commercial touch and the actor should be ready to go the extra mile to achieve success in both the films.

Rana Daggubati entered Kollywood with a small role in Ajith's hit film "Arrambam," directed by Vishnuvardhan. But he became popular in Kollywood with his role of Palavaalthevan (Bhallala Deva in Telugu) in multilingual "Baahubali."

Currently, Rana Daggubati is busy with the second instalment of "Baahubali" and "Ghazi." Meanwhile, his latest Tamil film "Bangalore Natkal" has opened to mixed reviews and has done decent business at the box office.
