Ace director SS Rajamouli has finally revealed that the posters and trailer of his magnum opus "Baahubali" will be released on 1 and 31 May respectively. The first part of the film will hit screens in July.
"Baahubali" is one of the most-talked about film and has been in production for more than two years. Telugu film goers are eagerly waiting for the release of its promos and music. Made on a whopping budget of ₹175 crore, the movie is being released in two parts. The first part was slated to be released on 15 May.
On 4 March, SS Rajamouli announced the release date of "Baahubali Part 1". In the video posted on his Twitter handle, the director had said: "Today, the whole team of Baahubali is very happy because except for one song, we have completed entire talkie portions at last. I am also happy to announce that we are gearing up to release 'Baabubali Part 1' on 15 May."
But the release of "Baahubali Part 1" was postponed due to the delay in its post-production work. On 28 April, Rajamouli released another video message in which he confirmed the delay. The filmmaker said the delay in the VFX works was the reason for postponing the release of the movie.
SS Rajamouli tweeted, "17 Vfx studios with 600 artists are working on #Baahubali on double shifts but still cudnt make it on time.." He added, "We will also release posters of the principal characters of #Baahubali from may1st leading upto the trailer release on may31st."
"Baahubali" features an ensemble cast of Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Nassar, Adivi Sesh, Tanikella Bharani and Sudeep. Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, the two-part epic film is simultaneously being made in Telugu and Tamil and also dubbed in English, Hindi, Malayalam, apart from many foreign languages.
