Story
Shivudu is a flamboyant, outward, free-spirited and fun-loving person. He is brought up in the forests and is unrestrained by any kind of law. He is an adventure seeker, a quality that comes from a longing from within. He loves water falls and mountain-climbing.
He does not know his identity and is in search of answers to questions like, "Who I am" and "Where have I come from". He gets to know his identity at the end of "Baahubali - The Beginning". (Read detailed story)

Shooting
The filming of "Baahubali" began at Rock Gardens in Kurnool on 6 July, 2013. Later, the film was shot in Athirappilly Falls and other exotic locales in Kerala. The war as well as some song sequences have been shot at costly sets erected at Ramoji Film City, Golconda Fort and Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Some portions of the film have also been canned in Mahabaleshwar and Bulgaria.
The movie was shot for over 350 days and its post-production and promotion took another 150 days. The making of the film has taken around 500 days, which is said to be a record in the Indian cinema. (Check out Baahubali set photos)
Budget, Sale of its Rights and Censor
The two parts of "Baahubali" have been made with a whopping budget of ₹250 crore. Part 1 - "Baahubali - The Beginning" alone has fetched over ₹150 crore from the sale of its music, satellite and distribution rights. The movie has got U/A certificate from the Censor Board.
