"This is the highest price for the TV rights of any Indian regional movie. This is also one of the highest prices paid for original Hindi films," the source added.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, there is a huge frenzy around Baahubali: The Conclusion. Even the first instalment of the franchise had enabled the makers to earn huge moolah before release.
However, earning Rs 51 crore plus tax for satellite rights of just the Hindi version of Baahubali 2 is certainly a huge thing for the makers of the film. Starring Prabhas and Rana Daggubati among others, Baahubali: The Beginning was a huge success and now fans are eagerly waiting to know the million dollar question – Why Kattappa killed Baahubali?
Baahubali 2 is slated for release on April 28, 2017.
