The police have arrested six more people in connection with the leaked videos from the sets of Baahubali: The Conclusion (Bahubali 2). Two videos of a war scene from the climax of Baahubali 2 were leaked online recently.
Earlier, 24-year-old graphic designer Krishna Dayanand Choudhury was arrested by the police for leaking and circulating the videos on social media.
Now, six persons have been taken into custody for leaking the Baahubali 2 videos, according to the Asian Age. The report said that all the six accused are students and are residents of Vijaywada in Andhra Pradesh.
It was reported that Krishna, who was associated with the film's editing team as a trainee, first shared the videos with a friend named Akki Krishna Chaitanya. Akki then forwarded the leaked videos to another five friends and then it had gone viral on social media. The police have now reportedly recovered one laptop and six smartphones that were used to share the Baahubali 2 videos.
A 2-minute long clip was first shared on social media that showed Prabhas making an army of soldiers ready for a war. The video also featured Anushka Shetty and looked like a raw footage showing the crew members shooting for the scene on the sets.
Another unedited 9-minute long video was later circulated that was reportedly a part of the climax scene of Baahubali 2. The videos were available on YouTube and Twitter but were later apparently removed.
The videos being leaked from the sets of SS Rajamouli directorial film had come as a big shock for the team as they have been taking strict measures to avoid any such incident. However, considering the popularity of the franchise, the makers will probably be more alert to keep the film's content under wraps.
