SS Rajamouli, the director of "Baahubali", has released its third poster, revealing the look of Anushka Shetty's character, Devasena.
In the poster, Anushka is seen in a completely new avatar and her character is introduced as a woman who has been captured and tortured for years.
Makers have confirmed that Anushka's role of Devasena will be her career best and the actress will make only a brief appearance in the first part.
The latest poster was shared through Rajamouli's Twitter page on Wednesday, 6 May, at 4pm. Though Anushka's character doesn't play a pivotal role in the first part of "Baahubali", she will be seen as heroine in the sequel that will be released later.
Meanwhile, "Baahubali" team have already released two posters and both the posters had received some overwhelming response from the audience. The first poster indicated birth of a child, which the director said is "one single moment at its core which defines & drives the entire plot."
The second poster introduced the character, "Shivudu – The Unrestrained" played by Prabhas. In the poster, he is seen a strong man who has lifted a huge "Shivling" on his shoulder. The director mentions his character as someone who pursues relentlessly to get what his heart yearns and as the "Mover of Heaven and Earth."
"Baahubali" is probably the most-awaited movie in the Indian cinema industry in 2015. The film is reportedly made with a huge budget of ₹195 crore and sources say the project took one year for pre-production work and two years of shooting alone.
The movie has a highly impressive star cast comprising of Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah, Sudeep, Satyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, Adivi Shesh, Nassar, Tanikella Bharani and Subburaj.
The big-budget film is being produced by Prasad Deveneni, K Raghavendra Rao and Shobu Yarlagadda and is expected to hit screens on 10 July 2015.
