The much awaited second poster of "Baahubali" has been released. The second poster introduced the character of "Shivudu" and first appeared on the Twitter page of director SS Rajamouli.
The poster shows the character played by Prabhas, who the director calls "The Unrestrained"
The team had earlier released the first poster of the movie for Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Bollywood versions. The poster, which depicted the birth of a child, was called "One single moment at its core which defines & drives the entire plot" by the director.
Rajamouli's "Baahubali" is one of the most-ambitious epic movies of Indian cinema. It is being made in two parts and is expected to create records at the box office. The movie will be distributed in Hindi by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
The first part of the movie was earlier announced for 15 May, 2015 release, but was postponed due to delay in post-production work.
On 28 April, Rajamouli released a video message in which he confirmed the delay, and attributed it to VFX work. He also announced that the trailer of the movie will be released on 31 May.
The movie is said to be made on a budget of ₹175 crore and the pre-release business, as per some reports, has already crossed ₹100 crore.
Talking about pre-release business, Rajinikanth's "Robo" stands at the top, with ₹ 140 crore. It will be interesting to see if "Baahubali" reaches that mark.
The movie has a highly impressive starcast comprising Prabhas, Rana Duggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah, Sudeep, Satyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, Adivi Shesh, Nassar, Tanikella Bharani and Subburaj.
The big budget movie is being produced by Prasad Devineni, K Raghavendra Rao and Shobu Yarlagadda.
