SS Rajamouli's movie, "Baahubali – The Beginning" (Bahubali) is still going strong at the box office in USA despite the release Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and a few Hollywood movies like "Ant-Man", "Trainwreck", "Irrational Man", and "Mr. Holmes" in the country.
"Baahubali" continues to rock at the box office in USA despite competition from Bollywood movie, "Bajrangi Bhaijaan." Interestingly, its collections increased in the second weekend, taking its total collections (from Telugu and Tamil versions) to over ₹40 crore.
Telugu version of "Baahubali" collected $288,245 Friday, and $439,945 Saturday from USA box office, taking its total earning to $5,665,384 or ₹ 35.96 crore, tweeted trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

However, a report by Bollywood Hungama claimed that Telugu version of "Baahubali" collected $941,444 in the second weekend, taking the total collections to ₹37.42 crore ($5,878,637), while the Tamil version raked in $146,090, which amounted to ₹2.85 crore ($448,769). Total collections of "Baahubali" from Telugu and Tamil versions in USA stand at ₹40.27 crore.
Interestingly, collections from "Baahubali" at USA box office increased considerably over the weekend despite apprehensions over release of Salman Khan's Eid release "Bajrangi Bhaijaan."
According to details provided by Taran on his Twitter page, "Baahubali"(Telugu version) collected $186,575 Tuesday, $155,318 Wednesday, and $100,441 Thursday, $288,245 Friday, and $439,945 Saturday, giving a clear hint that it would continue to do well at the box office.
It may be mentioned that opening weekend collections of "Baahubali" from overseas box office stood at ₹29.57 crore. Made on a budget of ₹250-crore, it was shot in Telugu and Tamil, and dubbed in Hindi and Malayalam. It features Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, and Sathyaraj in the lead roles.
