SS Rajamouli's latest offering, "Baahubali – The Beginning" (Bahubali) has completed a successful week run at the box office and has entered week 2 on a strong note. In fact, its box office collections in USA increased Friday, hinting that Eid release "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" hasn't affected it as expected.
After earning ₹31.34 crore in the first week, "Baahubali" Telugu version collected $288,245 Friday, taking the total collections to ₹33.17 crore from nine days (including Thursday's previews), according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

In fact, collections of "Baahubali"(Telugu version) witnessed a decline, earning $186,575 Tuesday, $155,318 Wednesday, and $100,441 Thursday, but it raked in $288,245 Friday, hinting a good second weekend.
Opening weekend collections of "Baahubali" from overseas box office stood at ₹29.57 crore with its Telugu version earning ₹32.46 lakhs (£32,886) in the UK, and ₹51.68 lakhs ($81,363) in Canada, while the Tamil version collected ₹16.91 lakhs (A$35,849) in Australia, and ₹13.86 lakhs ($21,824) in Canada, according to information provided by Taran.
The film collected ₹50 crore on the opening day in India, becoming the highest ever opening collection (all versions) in the country. Its worldwide collections crossed ₹200 crore in just five days and is expected to reach ₹300-mark in a few days' time.
Made on a budget of ₹250-crore, this period drama featuring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, and Sathyaraj in the lead roles, was shot in Telugu and Tamil, and dubbed in Hindi and Malayalam.
