'Baahubali' (Bahubali) 6th Weekend Box Office Collection: Rajamouli Film Grosses Rs 71.30 crore Overseas in 38 Days

The business of S S Rajamouli's "Baahubali - the Beginning" has been slowed down in its sixth week at overseas box office because of the new releases.

The Telugu version of "Baahubali - the Beginning" was completely withdrawn from cinema halls in key international markets in its fifth week. The screen count of its Tamil and Hindi versions were reduced by new releases. Yet, they managed a decent collection at markets like USA, Canada, Australia and Malaysia.

In its sixth week, the Tamil and Hindi versions of "Baahubali - the Beginning" lost out 10 cinema halls to new releases like "Brothers", "Rangi Taranga", "Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga" (VSOP), "Vaalu" and "Ramta Jogi" in key international markets. But the per-screen average of both the versions is much bigger than some of the new releases.

The Hindi version of "Baahubali - the Beginning" collected $ 30,891 from 11 screens at the USA box office in its fourth weekend and its 24-day total collection stands at $ 441,914 (Rs 2.88 crore). In its fourth weekend, it raked in $ 1,937 from one screen at the Canada box office, taking its 24-day total to $ 107,320 (Rs 70.14 lakh).

The Tamil version of "Baahubali - the Beginning" has continued to rock the box office in Australia and Malaysia. The movie has collected A$ 4,358 from two screens at the Australia box office and MYR 507 from a screen at the Malaysia box office in its sixth weekend. The total collection of this version stands at $ 303,039 (Rs 1.45 crore) and MYR 1,107,188 (Rs 1.76 crore) respectively in these countries.

Both the versions of "Baahubali - the Beginning" have collected $ 36,162 (Rs 23.57 lakh) at the overseas box office in its sixth weekend. The movie has raked in approximately a total of $10945623 (Rs 71.30 crore) at the international box office in 38 days. The movie has become the 13 all-time highest grosser Indian film in the foreign market.
