"Baahubali - the Beginning" (Bahubali) has continued to keep the bells ringing at the worldwide box office in its fifth weekend and has become the third all-time highest grossing Indian movie.

Trade experts predicted that "Srimanthudu", which released in theatres on 7 August, would halt the rocking run of Bahubali. As predicted, the Mahesh Babu starrer forced the Rajamouli-directed movie out of some key centres across the globe, but it could not stop the latter from doing good collection in the running cinema halls.
When compared to its fourth Friday collection, Bahubali witnessed around 40 percent drop in its business on its fifth Friday and the decline in the numbers is due to its decreased screen count. But there is absolutely no decrease in its occupancy in the cinema halls.
In its fifth weekend, the Telugu version of Bahubali registered an average of 90 percent occupancy in almost all the centres. The Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam versions of the period film have also managed to record the same amount of footfalls - an average of 70 percent that they had in the previous week. All the four versions had 100 percent occupancy in some areas.
All the four versions of Bahubali are estimated to have collected approximately Rs 25 crore gross at the worldwide box office in its fifth weekend. Its 31-day global total collection stands at Rs 550 crore gross. The film has collected approximately Rs 415 crore nett in the global market.
Bahubali has become the third all-time highest grosser Indian movie, pushing down Aamir Khan's "Dhoom 3" (Rs 542 crore) to the fourth place. The movie is now on its way to beat the record of the second all-time highest grosser – "Bajrani Bhaijaan", which is still doing well at the box office.
