SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali - the Beginning" (Bahubali) kept the bells ringing at the worldwide box office in its fourth week as well, taking its 28-day global total collection to Rs 525 crore gross.

In its fourth week, some of the screens were snatched from "Baahubali - the Beginning" by "Drishyam" and other new Telugu and Tamil releases. But, these new films could not stop the movie from continuing its rocking run at the ticket counters. The film registered an average of 70% occupancy in its fourth weekend and around 60% occupancy during weekdays.

The Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer is estimated to have grossed approximately Rs 35 crore in its fourth weekend and Rs 25 crore during the weekdays. In its fourth week, "Baahubali - the Beginning" has collected approximately Rs 60 crore gross at the worldwide box office, taking its 28-day total collection to Rs 525 crore gross.

"Baahubali - the Beginning" has collected approximately Rs 395 crore nett at the global box office in four weeks. Its worldwide theatrical rights were sold for a whopping price of around Rs 135 crore and the movie has earned approximately Rs 280 crore for its distributors, who are overwhelmed by its business.

Having landed in the fourth place, "Baahubali - the Beginning" is now racing to beat the lifetime collection record of Aamir Khan's "Dhoom 3", which is the third all-time highest grosser Indian movie with its gross business of Rs 542 crore. The Rajamouli directorial needs to earn Rs 17 crore gross to beat this record.

However, Mahesh Babu's "Srimanthudu", which hit the screens on Friday, has replaced "Baahubali - the Beginning" in many cinema halls around the world. And, it will also become the first choice for many filmgoers. It will definitely take a toll on the collection of the Prabhas starrer. It remains to be seen whether "Srimanthudu" will allow "Baahubali" to beat the record of "Dhoom 3" or not.
