Baahubali (Bahubali) 2 first-look, VR teaser launch; SS Rajamouli, Shobu thank fans for superb response at Jio MAMI

The first-look, 360-degree video and other promos of Baahubali: The Conclusion (Bahubali 2) have received massive response at the Jio MAMI. S S Rajamouli, Shobu have thanked the audience.

Baahubali 2 is scheduled to be released in theatres on April 28, 2017 and the producers of the SS Rajamouli- directed period movie kick-started its promotion six months in advance. They released its first-look, 360-degree making video at the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Fest on October 22. The promos of the movie were showcased at the event on Saturday and Sunday.

Scores of people visited the booth of the Baahubali team at the Jio MAMI 2016 to take a glimpse of its promos. Most of them were awe-struck by the experience of watching the Baahubali VR teaser, which they described as a real interaction with the Baahubali world. The word of mouth created lot of buzz on the social media, which drove people crazy towards the booth on Sunday.

Many film-goers were seen in queue to experience the Baahubali VR (Virtual Reality) teaser on Sunday. The makers of Baahubali were thrilled by this massive response and they kept posting the photos and videos of the happenings at the booth and viewers' response for the promos on official Twitter and Facebook pages. Several celebs including Kiran Rao were also among the visitors to the booth of Baahubali.

Director S S Rajamouli took to the official Twitter handle of Baahubali on Monday to thank the movie buffs for the response. They wrote: "The past two days have been AWESOME! A terrific response @Mumbaifilmfest. THANK YOU everyone at #JioMAMI2016 for making it so special! A big THANK YOU to everyone for the amazing response for the #Baahubali2FirstLook Poster and Motion Poster."

Shobu Yarlagadda ‏thanked for the organisers of Jio MAMI for their support in showcasing the Baahubali world. The producer wrote: "A big thanks to @anupamachopra @shakunbatra @RajeevMasand @kalpananair n the wonderful team @Mumbaifilmfest #MovieMela from Baahubali team! We loved every bit of the two days @Mumbaifilmfest #MovieMela @BaahubaliMovie @BaahubaliVR #VR."
