Anushka Shetty was recently spotted with former underworld don and social activist Muthappa Rai. They were seen together with their families at famous Kollur Mookambika temple in Udupi district, Karnataka.
The actress, accompanied by her family members, paid a surprise visit to the Kollur Mookambika temple on May 19 evening, say sources. Muthappa Rai's family was also seen with them.
Anushka Shetty and Muthappa Rai stood in a queue like a common man and took darshan of goddess Mookambika. After paying obeisance to the deity, they left the place quickly to avoid causing disturbance to the other devotes, add sources.
The actress has her roots in Puttur and makes regular visits to her home town. Also, Muthappa Rai, who is said to be a fan of Baahubali creator SS Rajamouli, is from the same place and a family friend of Anushka Shetty. Hence, it was not a surprise to see them together in public.
