SS Rajamouli's period movie "Baahubali - the Beginning" continues to rock at the box office worldwide, collecting Rs 325 crore at the second weekend and poised to cross the Rs 350-crore mark soon.
Trade experts had predicted that Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" (Hindi) and Dhanush's "Maari" (Tamil) would slow down the success run of "Baahubali - the Beginning" in its second week. The Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer did witness adrop in its collection on its second Friday, but the fall was lower than they had predicted.

On its second Friday, the business of "Baahubali - the Beginning" declined over 36% as compared to its opening day, mainly due to the decrease in its theatre count. Otherwise, the movie ran to packed houses almost everywhere. Its collection bounced back on its second Saturday and Sunday.
Despite clashing with "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", the Hindi version of "Baahubali - the Beginning" raked in approximately Rs 13 crore nett at the India box office in its second weekend, taking its 10-day total collection to Rs 59.77 crore nett.
Its Telugu version earned around $ 1.24 million the USA box office, taking its 10-day total to $ 6.18 million.

"Baahubali - the Beginning" has raked in Rs 30 crore in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka. The movie, which clashed with Dhanush's "Maari", grossed Rs 12 crore in Tamil Nadu in its second weekend.
The film collected approximately Rs 70 crore gross at the worldwide box office in its second weekend.
In the second weekend, "Baahubali - the Beginning" collected approximately Rs 48 crore nett at the global box office, taking its 10 day nett collection to Rs 233 crore. The share of the distributors, who shelled out around Rs 140 crore for its theatrical rights, is about Rs 185 crore.
Its 10-day gross total stands at Rs 325 crore globally.
The SS Rajamouli-directed movie has beaten the life-time collection records of all South Indian blockbusters like Rajinikanth's "Endhiran", Shankar's "I" Pawan Kalyan's "Attarintiki Daredi" and Ram Charan's "Magadheera". "Baahubali - the Beginning" has topped the chart of all time highest grosser Southern movies in just 10 days.
