The list of celebrities, who are impressed by Baahubali 2, is constantly growing. AR Rahman is the latest celebrity to praise the magnum opus, directed by SS Rajamouli.
After watching Baahubali 2 in a special screening, AR Rahman took to Facebook to hail Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer. He wrote, "To Rajamouli garu, Keeravani garu and the whole team of BB2... Just finished watching it in Chennai. I hope it crosses 2000 cr and above at the box office. You guys have opened the flood gates for South Indian cinema to the world and given it a new identity. [sic]"
Baahubali 2 has won appreciation from every nook and corner of the nation. Cutting across language barriers, celebrities have praised the multilingual movie. From Akshay Kumar to Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi to Kamal Haasan, people have only good things to say about the SS Rajamouli's film, which now remains a benchmark in the history of Indian cinema.
Meanwhile, the dream run of Baahubali 2, which has Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia in the female leads, has continued at the worldwide box office. The movie, which was released on April 28, has minted over Rs. 1,550 crore.
The movie was released in four languages – Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam. All the four versions have become 'blockbusters'. Baahubali 2 is now the highest-grossing movie of all time in India.
The first part of Baahubali series was released in 2015 and it had minted over Rs. 600 crore and the second instalment is expected to do triple the business.
