The collection of Baahubali 2 (Bahubali: The Conclusion) has crossed Rs. 1,000 crore mark at the worldwide box office in nine days and the posters featuring the historic mark have gone viral.

The SS Rajamouli-directed historical fiction film created history by collecting Rs. 887 crore in the global market in the first week. With no big releases across India, Baahubali 2 continued to keep the cash registers ringing at the ticket counters around the world in the second week. The movie witnessed 100 percent occupancy in almost all screens across the globe on its second Friday and Saturday.

The Hindi version of Baahubali 2 has collected Rs. 19.75 crore nett and Rs. 25+ crore nett at the domestic box office on its second Friday and Saturday, respectively. What is surprising is that these numbers are bigger than the first Friday and Saturday collections of many movies featuring Bollywood superstars.

The Hindi version of Baahubali 2 has collected Rs. 291 crore nett at the Indian box office in 9 days and its total gross collection stands at Rs. 405 crore in the domestic market. It is set to cross the mark of Rs. 300 crore nett on its second Sunday. Taran Adarsh tweeted: "#Baahubali2 packs a SOLID ₹ 25 cr + on Sat... Creates a new record: FASTEST to reach ₹ 300 cr Club [Day 10]... Nett biz. HINDI. India biz."

The Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam versions have also registered good response. Baahubali 2 collected approximately Rs. 75 crore gross at the south Indian box office on its second Friday and Saturday together. Its 9-day total collection stands at Rs. 452 crore gross in these regions.

All the versions of Baahubali 2 have collected Rs. 100 crore gross at the North America box office in nine days. The Prabhas starrer has become the first Indian film to achieve this feat. Taran Adarsh tweeted: "The UNTHINKABLE has happened: #Baahubali2 is the FIRST INDIAN FILM to cross ₹ 100 cr in NORTH AMERICA on Sat. ALL RECORDS SHATTERED @Rentrak."

The Prabhas starrer has collected approximately Rs. 110 crore gross in the UK, UAE, Australia, New Zealand and other key international markets in 9 days. Baahubali 2 has collected approximately Rs. 1,067 crore gross from all its versions at the worldwide box office in 9 days. The movie is estimated to have fetched Rs. 530 crore for its global distributors.

This is first time in the 105-year-old history of Indian Cinema, a film has crossed the mark of Rs 1,000 crore. The makers of the movie created a poster featuring Rs 1000 crore mark online this morning which went viral in no time.
