The Hindi version of SS Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Conclusion (Baahubali 2) remains unstoppable even after completing three weeks at the domestic box office. The film has crossed Rs 450 crore mark at the domestic market in 21 days and is inching closer to Rs 650 crore domestic gross mark.
In the third weekend, the Prabhas-starrer minted Rs 42.55 crore at the Indian box office, while in the weekdays of Week 3, its business dropped to Rs 27.2 crore. Hence, in the third week, Baahubali 2 collected Rs 69.75 crore at the domestic market.
The total domestic box office collection of the fictional period drama now stands at Rs 460 crore nett at the Indian box office. With this, the Hindi version of the second part of the Baahubali franchise has crossed Rs 450 crore nett at the domestic market, which is a feat no Bollywood film has achieved till date.
As for the domestic gross total of Baahubali 2, the film has collected Rs 638.89 crore in three weeks and will cross Rs 650 crore gross mark in its fourth weekend itself.
Meanwhile, at worldwide box office, Baahubali 2 has crossed Rs 1,500 crore mark and created history by setting a new benchmark for Indian cinema. Despite several new releases from various regions, including Bollywood films - Half Girlfriend and Hindi Medium, this Friday (May 19) - it failed to slow down the business of Baahubali 2. Instead, many films were pulled down as Baahubali 2 continued to do well at the ticket counters.
SS Rajamouli's film is expected to continue its dream run in the fourth week as well and it won't come as a surprise if the Hindi version manages to cross Rs 500 crore nett in Week 4.
