"Gentleman" actor Nani, who was in the limelight in SS Rajamouli's "Eega," made a surprise visit to the sets of "Baahubali 2" on Wednesday and directed a portion of the movie.
Nani took some time out from his busy schedule of the promotion of "Gentleman" to pay a surprise visit to the sets of "Baahubali 2" at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad on June 22. PRO Vamsi Kaka tweeted a photo featuring Nani on the sets of the movie and wrote, ".@NameisNani on the sets of #Baahubali at RFC. Latest Picture.."
The makers of "Baahubali 2" also posted a video on the official Twitter handle of the movie and wrote: "Our Gentleman, @NameisNani made a surprise visit to our sets yesterday like he usually does! #Baahubali2." The 10-second long video features Nani saying, "Action!" while KK Senthil Kumar is handling the cinematography. It does not show SS Rajamouli or anyone else from the team. Nani started his career as an RJ for World Space Satellite in Hyderabad and later worked as an assistant director to Srinu Vaitla and Bapu. He made his acting debut with the 2008 Telugu film "Ashta Chamma," which was a decent hit at the box office. Then onwards, there has been no looking back for this talented actor, who has starred in over 15 movies in Telugu and Tamil, with most them turrning out to be hits.
It was with director SS Rajamouli's 2012 film "Eega," that he got the much-needed attention around the world. This popularity helped some of his later releases become superhits in the international market. Ever since the release of "Eega," Nani has maintained a good relationship with SS Rajamouli.
Nani's latest outing "Gentleman," which was released in cinema halls on June 17, has got superb opening everywhere around the world. The actor took to his Twitter handle to thank his fans on June 18. He tweeted, "I wish I could thank each and everyone in person .. Overwhelmed.. Thank you so much Love Nani."
