Director SS Rajamouli, actors Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia and other members from the unit will attend the grand premiere of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Bahubali 2) at Mumbai on April 27.
Bahubali: The Beginning has become the biggest blockbuster success in Indian cinema and millions of film goers across the globe are eagerly waiting for the release of its sequel Baahubali 2, which is set to hit the screens on April 28. The hype had helped the makers to sell its theatrical rights at record prices and the distributors have booked over 6,500 cinema halls around the world for the movie.
The makers have decided to hold a grand premiere in Mumbai on April 27. They claim the gala night will match the grandeur of international premieres. The release of Baahubali 2 has turned into a festival of sorts. The Baahubali team is pulling out all stops to make it a benchmark for future Indian premieres. A classic red carpet event is also being planned. In keeping with the theme of the evening, huge props and artworks from the sets of the film have already been procured to give the venue a larger-than-life feel.
Baahubali 2, to be released in four languages, will be screened in Telugu and Hindi at the premiere. The entire Baahubali team along with director SS Rajamouli will fly down to attend the premiere. The makers are said to be planning to hold another premiere show in Hyderabad in the wee hours of April 28.
Baahubali 2 is mega budget movie, produced with a whopping budget of Rs 250 crore by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under the banner Arka Media Works. The movie has reportedly fetched Rs 500 crore from the sale of its theatrical, music, satellite and other rights. As per the box office predictions, the movie is expected to collect Rs 1,000 crore gross at the worldwide box office.
