When the entire nation is fighting to book tickets for the biggest release, Baahubali (Bahubali) The Conclusion, morning shows get cancelled in Tamil Nadu. Released on April 28, Baahubali 2 did not turn out to be a morning treat to TN people.
Trade analyst Sreedhar Pillai informed about it on social media. He tweeted: "#Baahubali2 early morning show cancellation in Tamil Nadu has created disappointment among fans. Will the film be cleared for noon shows?"
He also revealed the reason and it will come as a big disappointment to the fans. The morning shows of Baahubali 2 have been cancelled in Tamil Nadu as the financial settlement between K Productions and producer's are not yet settled.
A source in interaction with IANS revealed: "Tamil Nadu distributor K Productions owes Rs 15 crore to Arka Mediaworks, the makers of 'Baahubali 2'. Arka is yet to issue KDM for the release of Telugu and Tamil versions of the film in the state." A theatre owner, on the condition of anonymity, further said the issue is likely to be settled by the afternoon as "Talks are being currently held to settle the deficit. Shows are likely to open from noon."
Now, the question is will it hit the screens in the noon? While the world is enjoying SS Rajamouli's magnum opus on April 28 morning, TN fans will have to wait for the film to be released in the state. However, the recent update is that the shows might start from 11:30 a.m.
