The Hindi version of SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2 (Baahubali: The Conclusion) remained steady on its eighth day at the Indian box office on Friday. And, after a phenomenal collection in the first week, the film is now continuing its rare march in the second week as well.

Released in over 3,500 screens across the Indian market on April 28, the Hindi version of the Prabhas-starrer collected Rs 247 crore nett in 7 days. On its second Friday (Day 8), Baahubali 2 (Hindi) raked in Rs 19.75 crore, Bollywood Hungama reported. The total domestic total of the Hindi version of the movie now stands at Rs 266.75 crore nett.
The film has already shattered the opening day domestic box office collection record of all Bollywood films and continues to do the same with each passing day. On its eighth day, Baahubali 2 also broke Dangal's eighth day domestic collection record (Rs 18.59 crore).
The film is now the fifth highest grosser as far as Hindi films are concerned after Dangal, Sultan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and PK.
It is expected to surpass the lifetime domestic box office collection records of Salman Khan's Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs 300.35 crore and Rs 320 crore, respectively) over the weekend.
