The Hindi version of Baahubali 2 (Bahubali 2) remained undeterred by new releases at the domestic box office in its fourth weekend and took its total collection beyond the mark of Rs 650 crore gross in 24 days.
Trade experts had predicted that new Bollywood releases Half Girlfriend and Hindi Medium would force the Hindi version of Baahubali 2 out of most of the theatres that it held in third week and stall its rocking run. But this dubbed movie directed by SS Rajamouli managed to hold strong in 1,275 screens in the domestic market and made decent collection at the box office in its fourth weekend.
The Hindi version of Baahubali 2 has collected Rs 18.30 crore nett at the domestic box office in its fourth weekend, taking its 24-day collection to Rs 478.30 crore nett. At a time when many big ticket Bollywood movies struggle to cross Rs 100 crore nett, the dubbed version of Baahubali 2 starring Prabhas and Rana Daggubati has effortlessly crossed the mark of Rs 475 crore nett, which no Bollywood movie has collected so far.
