Superstars Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan have congratulated SS Rajamouli's team for the success of Baahubali 2, which crossed the Rs 1,000 crore mark at the worldwide box office in nine days.
Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan are the most popular actors from the Telugu film industry and their movies held all the top collection records before the release of Baahubali: The Beginning. Now, Baahubali 2 has achieved something that no other Indian movie could in the past. Both the Tollywood superstars are spellbound over its stupendous success at the box office.
Baahubali 2 collected Rs 1,067 crore gross at the worldwide box office in nine days. Shobu Yarlagadda, who has jointly produced the movie with Prasad Devineni, tweeted: "A big thanks to movie lovers, fans, entire team of @BaahubaliMovie, family, friends n God's grace for what we have achieved!"
Soon after they heard the news about Baahubali crossing the Rs 1,000 crore mark, both the superstars congratulated the team. Mahesh Babu tweeted: "The unthinkable has happened! 1000 crores & counting! Thankyou @ssrajamouli & team for making me & the entire Telugu film fraternity proud:)"
Pawan Kalyan tweeted: "My Heartfelt congratulations to Shri Rajmouli,Shri Prabhas &team for their stupendous success of. Bahubali and achieving the 1000 crore mark. Shri Rajmouli with his years of hard work ,tenacity & dedication made alll of us proud.. I wish him many more achievements like this. And my heartfelt wishes to Sri Rana daggupati & other actors and my heartfelt congratulations to Producers& technical team."
Mahesh Babu had watched Baahubali 2 a few days after its release and praised the team. He tweeted: "The master storyteller is back! #Baahubali2 is an event film which exceeds expectations! Mind boggling stuff, a game changer! Hats off to @ssrajamouli and the entire team!"
All other Telugu superstars, including Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna and Nagarjuna, had appreciated the film unit for their effort in Baahubali 2. Pawan Kalyan was perhaps the only Telugu actor who did not say anything about the movie, which had surprised everyone in the film industry.
