Prabhas' Bahubali 2 (Baahubali 2) continues to make a historic collection at the worldwide box office in its second weekend and the movie is now heading to cross the mark of Rs.1,500 crore gross.
Bahubali 2 made a stupendous collection in the global market in its opening week. The movie did not face any major competition from other Indian cinemas. The much-awaited Hollywood movie Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 was the only rival worth mentioning. SS Rajamouli-directed historical fiction movie is having a dream run so far.
Bahubali 2 lost some screens to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 in India and around the word, but that didn't dent the epic movie's business. The Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer registered 100 percent occupancy in almost all the theatres in India in its second weekend. What surprised many is the performance of its Hindi version in the domestic market.
When many Bollywood films struggle to collect even Rs. 50 crore in their lifetime, the Hindi version of Bahubali 2 raked in Rs. 80.75 crore nett at the domestic box office in its second weekend. The Hindi version has collected a total of Rs. 321 crore nett in India 10 days and its gross total collection stands at Rs. 455.21 crore.

Bahubali's Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam versions also scored big at the ticket counters in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka in the second weekend. But the business was slightly affected by new Malayalam releases like Comrade in America (CIA) and Lakshyam in Kerala this weekend.
The three versions of Bahubali 2 have collected approximately Rs. 135 crore gross at the South Indian box office in the second weekend and their 10-day total collection stands at Rs. 512 crore gross. The Prabhas starrer has become the first movie to cross Rs. 500 crore mark in the southern market.
All four versions of the movie have received a tremendous response in North America, UAE, UK, Australia and other international markets. Baahubali 2 is estimated to have collected over Rs. 85 crore at the overseas box office in the second weekend. The total international collection of Bahubali 2 has reached Rs. 245 crore gross.
The movie has collected approximately Rs. 340 crore gross at the worldwide box office in the second weekend. Its 10-day total collection stands at Rs. 1,227 crore in the global market. The film created history by crossing Rs. 1,000 crore mark in nine days and has become the only Indian movie to achieve this feat.
Now, Baahubali 2 is heading towards Rs. 1,500 crore mark at the global box office. The movie needs Rs. 300 crore to cross this mark and considering its current pace, the movie may not be able to do it in the second week. But it will surely reach the magic number in its third weekend.
