Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor were fierce rebels in the first-look posters of "Baaghi," but they embrace love, too. In a still circulating on the web, the two are seen kissing in the rain while holding each other close.
Director Sabbir Khan, who has been singing praises for the chemistry they share, said in a statement that the photo was taken sometime last year. "Tiger and Shraddha share a great rapport, having known each other since their school days, and were really comfortable with each other. I noticed the comfort they share during our reading sessions, and decided to tap it. They look amazing together," he added.
Although the filmmaker didn't confirm whether the film would have intimate scenes, he said there were two romantic sequences in the film, both shot in Thailand and Kerala.
Artistes are at times awkward about getting too close to their co-stars, but not Tiger and Shraddha. "Thanks to the reading sessions, they knew the script well and we had a blast on the sets. They even helped each other during difficult scenes, be it action, dance or emotional sequences," Sabbir said.
About one man's fight against the society, "Baaghi" is laced with love, drama and some unadulterated action. While Tiger is a pro at the whole martial arts jingbang, Shraddha had to take lessons. Also, she has gone de-glam for certain portions of the film.
Slated for an April 29 release, the action-drama is produced jointly by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and UTV Motion Pictures.
