Shraddha Kapoor and Tiger Shroff treated fans to teaser posters of themselves from the film, "Baaghi: Rebels in Love." The official poster will be out on March 9.
Looking intimidating and fierce, the posters have triggered massive buzz and their admirers cannot wait for the action-drama to hit the screens. Both Tiger and Shraddha took to Twitter to wish each other on their birthdays (March 2 and 3, respectively), while sharing the posters.
"Presenting... MY FAVORITE REBEL! #BAAGHI HAPPY BIRTHDAY @iTIGERSHROFF #BeARebel (sic)," she posted. Tiger responded to the wish with this: "Shradddzzzz thank you love you! #Baaghi #BeARebel."
"Girl power! @ShraddhaKapoor show them how it's done. happy birthday my hero! #Baaghi #BeARebel (sic)," Tiger wrote to which Shraddha replied: "Thank you my favorite #Baaghi! Love youuuuu @iTIGERSHROFF (sic)."
As the title suggests, the film is about rebellion and one man's fight against the society to defend his one true love. While Tiger is adept at the gravity-defying action sequences (he has been training for martial arts — Tae Kwon Do and Wushu — since he was a teenager), Shraddha has tried her hand at fist fighting too.
Her role in it is grey and it requires her to go de-glam for certain portions, BollywoodLife reported citing DNA. "The approach too will be different. And yes, I will be doing a lot of action in Baaghi. I will also be seen in a de-glam role for a certain portion in the film," she had said last year.
Tiger and Shraddha are childhood friends and they went to the same school and have common friends too. The stars will apparently be treating some of them soon. "It has been in the works ever since they began shooting for the film a few months ago. Their friends suggested that they have a joint celebration that could double up as a reunion with common friends," a source told Mumbai Mirror.
Slated for an April 29 release, the film has been helmed by Sabbir Khan.
