The box office collection of "Baaghi," which was a solo release, is better than what trade analysts expected from the film. The film, which has turned to be a profitable venture for Sajid Nadiadwala, has minted Rs. 51.07 crore from five days run.
Here is the five-day breakup of the film tweeted by trade analyst Taran Adarsh: Friday Rs. 11.94 crore, Saturday Rs. 11.13 crore, Sunday Rs. 15.51 crore, Monday Rs. 6.72 crore and Tuesday Rs. 5.77 crore.
The Tiger and Shraddha-starrer is the sixth highest grosser of this year and adding the sixth-day collection, the film will surpass the lifetime box office earnings of "Ki and Ka" and "Heropanti." Tiger's debut movie "Heropanti" minted Rs. 52.92 crore, while Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor's "Ki and Ka" minted Rs. 52.1 crore.
"#Baaghi cruises past ₹ 50 cr... Going SUPER-STRONG... As per trending, Week 1 should close at ₹ 60 cr [+/-], which is FANTASTIC. India biz," Adarsh tweeted.
The romantic action drama directed by Sabbir Khan is doing well at single screens, especially in small cities, and will continue to do well in its first week.
Directed by Sabbir, "Baaghi" is inspired by Indonesian film "The Raid: Redemption" and Telugu film "Varsham."
