Bollywood actress Esha Gupta has reportedly been roped in to dance in an item song in mega power star Ram Charan's Telugu film Vinaya Vidheya Rama, which features Kiara Advani in the female lead.
It was recently rumoured that Vinaya Vidheya Rama has a foot-tapping party, which is composed by Devi Sri Prasad and it will be shot in a specially erected pub set at Annapurna Seven Acres. The makers were said to be considering the names of actresses Ileana D'Cruz, Catherine Tresa and Kajal Aggarwal. But the latest we hear is that the producers have zeroed in on Jannat 2 actress Esha Gupta for the song.
It is reported that Esha Gupta will shoot this special song on December 14. "Esha Gupta is doing an item song in VVR. It's the first song of the film that comes after a pivotal sequence. Her presence not only adds value but also enhances the situation," The New Indian Express quoted a source as saying.
Vinaya Vidheya Rama is an action film written and directed by Boyapati Srinu and produced by DVV Danayya under the banner DVV Entertainment. The film is slated to release on January 10 and the team is leaving no stone unturned to complete its shoot in the third week of December.
According to sources, Vinaya Vidheya Rama is almost wrapped except the shooting of two songs. "After the pub song, another duet on Charan and leading lady Kiara Advani in Khanapur, Adilabad from December 18-22 will call it a wrap," added the source.
Esha Gupta had made her acting debut as a heroine in Jannat 2 2012. She went on to play female leads in Raaz 3D (2012), Chakravyuh (2012), Humshakals (2014), Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon (2015) and Rustom (2016). She forayed into south films with a special appearance in the song in Devi (Tamil) and Abhinetri (Telugu) in 2016. She has also featured in an item song in Telugu film Veedevadu in 2017.
