Although Emraan Hashmi was once popular as the "serial kisser" of Bollywood, Nargis Fakhri said she did not enjoy kissing the actor during a song in the upcoming biopic "Azhar." The actress revealed there is a song in the movie that involves a lot of kissing between her and Emraan, and she was apparently not very comfortable with the lip locks.
"I probably didn't enjoy filming the song as much as he did. Lots of kissing happened. In fact, there was so much of it that at one point I wasn't sure if they were retakes, a part of the song, or someone playing a prank on me," Nargis told Mumbai Mirror.
Emraan once had a track record of having on-screen kisses in almost all of his movies. Even Nargis did a couple of lip locks in her films "Rockstar" and "Main Tera Hero."
Talking about playing the character of cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin's former wife Sangeeta Bijlani, Nargis said, "I see her as a statuesque model-actress and a fashion icon. I have been associated with the fashion business but we are completely different personalities," she said.
Directed by Tony D'Souza, "Azhar" is a movie on the life of controversial former Indian cricket team captain Mohammad Azharuddin, who will be portrayed by Emraan. Prachi Desai will play the character of the former cricketer's first wife Naureen, and Nargis will be seen as his second wife Sangeeta. The film will apparently deal with Azharuddin's personal life as well as his cricketing career, including his alleged involvement in match-fixing.
Apart from "Azhar," which is slated to be released May 13, Nargis has three more upcoming movies — "Dishoom," "Housefull 3" and "Banjo." While the first two are multi-starrers, "Banjo" will feature the actress opposite Riteish Deshmukh.
